CaterRadar by Spotvira collects structured event details so customers can request catering quotes without repeating the same information to many caterers. This notice explains the practical safeguards and limits around that data.
Why structured data matters
Food truck and catering quotes depend on date, time, location, guest count, service style, menu, parking, power, venue restrictions, and budget. We collect those details once so caterers can evaluate the event quickly and customers can compare offers on a secure page.
Minimum necessary sharing
We aim to share only the information reasonably needed for a caterer, payment processor, messaging caterer, or support tool to evaluate, quote, coordinate, confirm, or support an event. Before a caterer submits or is selected for an offer, we may limit direct customer contact details where practical.
When a request is sent to multiple caterers for quote review, we may share event logistics such as location, timing, guest count, menu preferences, service style, parking, power, venue notes, and budget or minimum-guarantee information. Direct customer contact details may be withheld, masked, staged, or released later depending on the workflow, provider response, customer acceptance, payment status, safety controls, and fraud controls.
Security practices
We use access controls, secure hosting, encrypted transport where supported, payment processors for card handling, and operational logs to protect and monitor the service. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we design the platform to avoid unnecessary exposure and to keep event data tied to legitimate coordination needs.
Caterer and service-provider access
Independent caterers and technology providers may receive information needed to perform their role. Caterers remain responsible for their own staff, equipment, food safety, permits, insurance, privacy obligations, and event service. CaterRadar is a coordination platform, not a caterer, restaurant, food truck operator, venue, insurer, or permit authority.
