Terms of Service
These terms apply to CaterRadar by Spotvira. CaterRadar helps event hosts submit catering details, receive quotes from independent restaurants, caterers, and food providers, compare offers, and confirm an event online.
Operator information
CaterRadar is operated by Spotvira. The platform is used for event catering quote collection, caterer outreach, offer comparison, clearly disclosed Spotvira-fee workflows, direct caterer-payment coordination, and related support.
Platform role
CaterRadar is a coordination and technology platform. We help customers create one structured event request, route that request to independent food truck, trailer, cart, pop-up, restaurant, and caterers and food providers that appear relevant, communicate caterer responses, support offer acceptance, and send event updates. Caterer payments generally go directly from the customer to the caterer.
We are not a food truck operator, caterer, restaurant, venue, insurer, permit authority, or health department. Independent caterers remain responsible for menus, pricing, staffing, setup, permits, insurance, food safety, event service, and any caterer-specific terms they submit.
We may use public information, provider submissions, outreach history, customer feedback, and operational judgment to decide which caterers to contact, display, pause, or remove. These steps are practical safeguards, not a guarantee that any caterer is licensed, insured, available, suitable, or compliant for a particular event.
Requests, quotes, and confirmation
A catering request is not a confirmed booking when it is submitted. Caterers may accept, decline, ask questions, or submit quotes based on the event details available to them. We do not guarantee that any request will receive a quote or that a caterer will remain available until the customer confirms.
Caterer offers may include host-paid catering packages, guest-pay vending, minimum guarantees, appearance or booking fees, meal vouchers, or custom terms. Customers are responsible for reviewing the offer details, including caterer price, any booking-access fee, any caterer-required deposit, remaining balance, service duration, menu, setup needs, cancellation terms, weather terms, and caterer notes before confirming.
An event is considered confirmed through the platform only after the customer accepts an offer, completes any required Spotvira payment shown at checkout, and CaterRadar sends confirmation details. If no Spotvira payment is due, the customer may confirm without Stripe checkout. After confirmation, customer and caterer contact details may be released so the event can be coordinated directly.
SMS consent
When a customer submits a quote request and provides SMS consent, CaterRadar may send customer-care and transactional text messages about that specific request. These may include request confirmation, caterer questions, secure offer-page links, quote alerts, offer-acceptance updates, reminders, and event coordination. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS or HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not required to submit a request, receive quotes, book catering, complete a transaction, or use the service.
Marketing or promotional SMS consent is separate. If CaterRadar offers promotional SMS, that consent is collected with its own optional checkbox and is not required to submit a quote request, receive customer-care messages, complete a transaction, or use the service.
Payments and fees
CaterRadar may collect a clearly shown booking-access fee from the customer for access to provider names, contact details, quote details, and booking tools for a quote request. Caterer payments, including caterer-required deposits, minimum-guarantee shortfalls, and balances, are paid directly between the customer and caterer unless a specific workflow says otherwise.
Remaining balances, minimum-guarantee shortfalls, event-day guest purchases, voucher balances, taxes, gratuity, add-ons, overtime, and other event charges are handled according to the caterer offer and any later written agreement between the customer and caterer. CaterRadar may help document or communicate payment issues, but caterer-supplied terms and third-party payment processors may control timing, receipts, refunds, and disputes.
Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate event details, including date, time, guest count, location, venue restrictions, parking, power, water, service style, budget, cuisine preferences, dietary needs, and any notes that could affect caterer availability or pricing.
Customers must not submit false event details, misuse caterer contact information, avoid payment obligations, harass caterers or support staff, interfere with platform operations, or attempt to bypass the selected CaterRadar workflow after receiving non-public caterer information through the platform.
Provider responsibility
Independent caterers are responsible for the accuracy of their quotes and for their own staff, vehicles, equipment, menu, food preparation, permits, insurance, taxes, payment instructions, cancellation policy, weather policy, and event performance. A caterer's quote or confirmation creates an operational commitment by that caterer, not a guarantee by CaterRadar that the caterer will perform without delay, substitution, error, cancellation, or service issue.
Operating discretion
CaterRadar may change, suspend, limit, replace, or discontinue any workflow, feature, pricing method, payment method, outreach method, quote process, customer communication method, booking process, payout process, or operating model at any time. We may reject, pause, or cancel requests or offers that appear incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, operationally infeasible, or unsuitable for the platform.
No guarantees and limitation of responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaterRadar does not warrant or guarantee caterer availability, caterer performance, licensing, insurance, permits, food quality, food safety, allergen handling, menu availability, timing, pricing accuracy, cancellation outcome, weather outcome, or event completion.
CaterRadar is not responsible for acts, omissions, negligence, delays, cancellations, no-shows, food illness, allergen issues, property damage, regulatory violations, payment disputes, or service failures caused by independent caterers, venues, payment processors, communication providers, or other third parties.
