Important Service Disclaimer

CaterRadar by Spotvira helps event hosts request and compare catering quotes. This page summarizes the key limits of the service.

Operator information

CaterRadar is operated by Spotvira for event catering quote requests, caterer outreach, booking support, and customer communications.

Not a caterer or food truck operator

CaterRadar does not directly prepare food, operate trucks, staff events, supply catering, manage venues, issue permits, or provide insurance. Independent caterers are responsible for the food and event service they quote or provide.

Caterers are independent third-party businesses. They are not CaterRadar employees, agents, representatives, partners, franchisees, or subcontractors. CaterRadar does not control how a caterer prepares food, assigns staff, maintains equipment, handles permits, manages allergens, prices add-ons, or performs event service.

Availability and pricing

Pricing and availability depend on caterer response, event date, location, guest count, service style, menu, staffing, parking, power, weather, venue restrictions, and other operational factors. Quotes, estimates, badges, provider profiles, and trust signals are not guarantees of availability, licensing, insurance, food safety, permit status, final price, or final performance.

Food, allergens, permits, and venue rules

Customers should review caterer details and ask the caterer directly about menu ingredients, allergens, dietary accommodations, food safety permits, insurance, power needs, generator use, parking, dimensions, venue restrictions, and any paperwork required for the specific event.

CaterRadar may collect caterer answers about insurance, COIs, permits, setup needs, and service style, but those answers are provider-submitted information and should be treated as operational signals rather than warranties or certifications.

Third-party responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, customers use CaterRadar at their own discretion and risk. CaterRadar is not responsible for acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, delays, cancellations, no-shows, food illness, allergen reactions, property damage, regulatory violations, payment disputes, or service failures caused by independent caterers, venues, payment processors, communication providers, or other third parties.

CaterRadar may help communicate, document, escalate, or rework issues when practical, but doing so does not mean CaterRadar assumes responsibility for the underlying catering service or the caterer's performance.
