No-questions-asked refund
If a lead is invalid, we refund immediately. Wrong contact, fake request, or customer says they did not ask for catering: send it to us and we handle it.
What happens after I claim an opportunity?
We email you the customer details right away. Call the client as soon as you can, reference their CaterRadar request, and propose a clear catering plan based on their event type, guest count, food preferences, location, timing, and budget.
Does the client expect my call?
Yes. These customers asked to hear from an interested caterer. Your first call should be direct, professional, and focused on helping them get catering off their list with a practical quote and next steps.
How serious are these clients?
These are high-intent catering requests, not a cold list. Based on the client flow CaterRadar is built around, most customers are ready to choose once a caterer presents a plan that fits their preferences. Historically, about 90% of qualified clients move forward when the fit is right.
Is the lead exclusive?
The first caterer to claim receives the customer details. After it is claimed, the opportunity moves to recently claimed and other providers can see it is already taken.
Are there any other CaterRadar fees?
No. The claim fee shown on the opportunity is the CaterRadar fee for that lead. We do not ask for another platform fee, subscription fee, commission, or percentage of the catering job after you claim it.
What if the lead is not valid?
If the contact details are wrong, the customer says they did not request catering, the event is fake, or the request is already booked before you could reasonably respond, tell us and we refund immediately, no questions asked.
What if the customer does not answer?
Try a call and a short follow-up message. Many event clients answer between meetings or after work. If the contact information itself is bad, that is treated as an invalid lead.
What should I say when I call?
Use simple language: "Hi, this is [your name] from [restaurant]. I am calling about your CaterRadar catering request for [event]. I reviewed your preferences and can suggest a plan that fits."
What if the budget is missing?
Some clients leave budget open because they want provider pricing. In that case, use the guest count, service style, menu preferences, and location to decide whether the opportunity is worth claiming.
Can I claim more than one opportunity?
Yes. Claim the events that match your service area, availability, menu, and minimums. Each claimed opportunity is handled separately.
